Baby Gracie jo is here! :) We were able to take Kinley to see her family last night! She misses her mommy so much, but is having a blast with aunt carli! Gracie has no interest of eating so she is in the nicu being monitored, it breaks my heart seeing her in her "cage" with wires all over, but I know she is in the best place possible. It took all my self control to obey the rules and not hold her (she has an iv in her umbilical cord so only mom and dad can hold her for now) She is so beautiful, but so tiny! and yes she is a little blondie! Brit is doing good and is able to see baby. This morning they were rock-a-by-bying (according to kinley!) Kinley wasnt able to see her new little sister because in the nicu siblings have to be 3 or older, but we show her pictures all the time! Her face lights up the room when she sees sister:) When no one is watching her she will pretend her doll, any kind of toy, and even her sippy cup is baby Gracie, she rocks her saying "oh its ok baby, shh shh shh, its ok I got you baby Gracie" its so cute! She is still very confused as to why they arent home yet, but we are doing all we can to explain. Kinley is going to be an AMAZING big sister!
Gracie jo, Iv only met you once but I love you so much already! You are the smallest blessing our family has recieved and we wouldnt have it any other way. You may not know it yet but you have daddy, grandpa, and uncle ryry wraped around your tiny little finger! You need to keep eating and progressng forward, you have an aunt who cant wait any longer to hold you, and when you get home we will paint you toes, dress you in cute clothes, and put little bows in your hair. trust me you will love it:) Gracie you have been blessed with the geatest mommy and daddy a little girl can ask for,who will do anything for you and love you unconditionaly! Now the rest of your family, we may come off a little crazy at times but theres never a dull moment here. We all love you so much and are truely so blessed to have you in our lives. We will keep you in our prayers baby girl..
